A Kiss?
A Poem By Sunsetter
December 10, 2003

I did such a terrible thing, just for you.
It is because my love for you, is so true.
By crossing over to this parallel time band.
Doing it out of love, to lend my helping hand.
Then I saw her standing, with stake and hammer.
Silently I crept up behind, then gave a swing at her.
When she fell to the floor, I dropped my poker stick.
I examined her pulse and heart, it no longer ticked.
I realized in that instant, I had killed her just for you.
As I said, it is because my love for you, is really true.
But my guilt was so intense, in fact, I began to shake.
Will made me feel better, knowing what was at stake.
He knew that I had come, because Barnabas explained.
There was a good Julia, in another space and time plane.
I pretended to be Ms. Hoffman, especially to Angelique.
So that Barnabas and I, into her room, we could sneak.
The moment had arrived, as he arose from his slumber.
Seeing me dressed as Hoffman, he wanted to kill her.
I convinced him that I was his Julia, and I had murdered.
Without me, into his heart, a stake would be hammered.
He then showed his sweet side, and came so close to me.
And his loving eyes and smile made me weak at the knees.
As he came within kissing distance, it was the perfect time.
I wanted him to kiss me so badly, but he turned on a dime.
He did hold on to my arms, as our eyes met with intensity.
If only he'd kissed me, my fire for him, I would of set free.
